Ziqi ZhonG

curriculum vitae
Hi, I’m Ziqi Zhong, a PhD candidate in Quantitative Marketing at LSE, fully funded by the Lee Family PhD Scholarship. I study how firms build sustainable and consumer-centric strategies through privacy policy design, platform governance, and green positioning. My work combines behavioural economics, causal inference, applied AI, and neuroscience.
My research has been presented at ISMS, EMAC, and AMA, and is under review at JMR, JAMS, and IJRM, as well as leading AI conferences including AAAI and EMNLP. I’ve received multiple research grants as principal investigator and was nominated for the LSE Impact Prize.
I’ve taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at LSE, earning the Class Teacher Award for Highly Commended Teaching. I’m also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
Beyond academia, I’m the first Chinese instructor in Europe certified in both scuba and freediving (PADI & AIDA), and I promote marine conservation through teaching. I also enjoy classical singing and Kendo.
