Ziqi ZhonG
Hola! I'm Ziqi Zhong, an Assistant Professor in Marketing & Analytics at UTS Business School, University of Technology Sydney, and a Visiting Professor in Digital Economics & Policy at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE).
My research integrates behavioural and experimental economics, causal inference, foundation models, and neuroscience to examine how AI can be used to understand and enhance human and firm behaviour, as well as how AI itself is transforming people, organisations, and the pursuit of a more sustainable society.
I publish in leading business and AI venues, run large-scale field experiments with industry partners on topics such as sustainable behaviour and human-robot interaction, and serve as an External Research Scientist in Computational Behavioural Science and Neuroscience at NetEase Games.
I did my PhD and MRes in Quantitative Marketing at the London School of Economics (LSE) as a Lee Family PhD Scholar. I’m a Senior Member of IEEE and a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA).
Off the clock, I'm usually underwater. I was the first Chinese national in Europe to hold dual Master Instructor certifications in both freediving and scuba diving (PADI & AIDA). I also enjoy classical singing and Kendo.
